J. Bone: ‘Lords of Chaos’

THIS IS GOING TO BE GNARLY.

Something should have been said about this amazingness weeks ago, but, alas, better late than never.

J. Bizzone will be playing Norwegian death metal singer Varg Vikernes in “Lords of Chaos”  directed by Japanese director Sion Sono in his English-language debut. It’s described as a psychological horror and im thinking it’s going to be very El Ringu esque, you know how those Japanese get down with their sick ass horrorfests. (And yes I wanted to call it El Ringu instead of The Ring. Sounds spookier.)

MTV’s movie blog says this:

Vikernes, a.k.a. Count Grishnackh, was a prominent member of the Norwegian death metal scene of the 1990s. He was the head of the one man musical project Burzum, until he was arrested and convicted for the murder of Øystein “Euronymous” Aarseth, guitarist and co-founder of the band Mayhem, for reasons that remain unclear. Vikernes was also found guilty of committing arson against several Norwegian churches, which he claimed he had destroyed because they had desecrated pagan burial grounds. He was sentenced to to 21 years in prison, of which he served 16 before being released in March of this year.

So basically,  Jasper Says Relax Hale will be playing a murderer.  whoa.

aaaaand this is him in prison. apparently there is no black hair dye there. he's actually not so bad looking. wait did I just say that out loud?

This is really going to rule. Almost as hard as KStew playing Joan Jett or Robear possibly playing Jeff Buckley. I love that they are letting their musical sides out, those talented little effers.
